It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Silvano (Vano) Scoppa, on December 16.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of forty years, Mickie, his children, Daniela (Greg) and Gabriel (Myriam), and his adoring grandchildren, Luca and Diego. He also leaves to mourn his in-laws, siblings, and many friends and colleagues.

Vano was loved by everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune of crossing paths with him. Always smiling, kind, and up for adventure, he radiated joy. He has left an unfillable void in his family and friends’ hearts.

The family wishes to express its most sincere gratitude to the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

Please join us in celebrating his incredible life at Urgel Bourgie, 1275 Av Dollard, LaSalle on December 22 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The visitation will immediately be followed by a service. Silvano had a passion for the fashion industry and always appreciated colourful and comfortable pieces of clothing. In his honour, we ask that you come dressed in something he would have loved.
