On December 28, 2024 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Merrol Thomas at the age of eighty six, wife of Roy Thomas loving sister to sibling Thelma Batson reluctantly left this world to join her predeceased siblings; Rupert Batson, Blanche Lynch, Elrita Sealy, Carl Jones, Charles Jones and Clyde Batson.

Merrol is survived by her children Ophelia, Nathan and Natalie and her loyal husband Roy Thomas; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Urgel Bougie-Athos, 1255 Beaumont Ave., Mount-Royal, Quebec, H3P 3J1.
On Friday, January 24, 2025 ceremony to follow at Chapel of the complex at 11:00 am followed by interment at 1:00 pm at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601, Côte-des-Neiges Road, Montréal Qc H3V 1E7.
