It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lauretta Godin (born Savoie) on December 25, 2024 in Repentigny. She was the wife of the late Wilbrod Godin.
She is survived by her daughters Lise (Jim Russell), Hélène (Luc Fortin) and Claire (Marc Gauthier), her grandchildren Marianne, Natalie, Alex, Philippe, Laura and Audrey and their spouses, her beloved great-grandchildren Florence, Charlie, William, Béatrice, Alice, Émile and Laurent, as well as her sisters Lucie Kenny and Marie Hélène Savoie, her goddaughters, nephews and nieces, and many relatives and friends.
The family will honour the memory of Mrs. Savoie Godin on March 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Saint-Vincent-Marie-Strambi church located at 10 815 Armand Lavergne St. (church entrance by the main doors on rue De Castille), Montréal-Nord, PQ, H1H 3P3.
The immediate family will be present at the church from 9:00 a.m. to receive condolences.
Following the mass, there will be a burial at Urgel Bourgie, 2500 rue des Perron in Laval, to conclude with a small reception with snacks in the room provided for that purpose.
In honour and memory of Mrs. Savoie Godin, a donation or mass may be offered to Saint Joseph's Oratory in her name.
