It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bechara Sfeir, who passed away on December 4, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Leïla Sfeir and his children: Michel (Malak Hanna), Ziad (Tanya Sullivan), Khaled (Rima Ghantous) and Nabil (Myriam Jeminez).

Bechara is survived by his brothers and sisters: Georgette Fayad, Henriette Nehme, Élie Sfeir, Feus Jeannette Rizkallah, Henri, Michel and Raymond Sfeir.

Jeddo is survived by his grandchildren: Olivia, Émilie, Pamela, Karen, Maya, Christa, Julia, Léa, Leïla and Gaby.

Bechara will be sadly missed by many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends in Canada and Lebanon.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, 1255 Beaumont Ave. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Monastère Saint Antoine Le Grand at 1520 Ave. Ducharme, Outremont. Followed by interment at Jardin Urgel Bourgie located at 2500 Ave des Perron, Laval.

In lieu of flowers, a donation for the repose of his soul to the Monastère Saint Antoine le Grand would be appreciated.
