Nicola Di Pietro

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nicola Di Pietro, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

After a very courageous battle with cancer, Nicola peacefully left this world on November 28, 2024, at the age of 81.

Born with a deep passion for hard work and service, qualities that defined his life, Nicola was a skilled master electrician. Whether fixing a broken appliance, lending a helping hand, or sharing his wisdom and advice, Nicola was the person everyone could count on. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he took great pride in being a source of support to those around him.

Together with his beloved wife, Liliana—his steadfast partner and greatest love—Nicola built a family that was the heart and soul of his existence. He leaves behind his children, Erminia (Kether) and Italo (Elizabeth), who were his pride and joy. Nicola was also a deeply loving grandfather, affectionately known as "Nonno" to his four cherished grandchildren: Matteo, Noemi, Sonny and Nicola (Nico). He treasured every moment spent with them, always finding ways to be present and create lasting memories.

Nicola’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain a guiding light for his family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on, December 8th, 2024 from 11am to 4pm at the Urgel Bourgie /Feron/ Athos Funeral Complex, 1275 Ave Dollard, LaSalle.
