It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kamalapoopathy Chilliah, beloved wife of the late Sooriyakumar Mahalingam and cherished daughter of Aarumugam Sellaiya and Raasamma Sellaiya.

She leaves behind her loving children, Chiyamani Sooriyakumar, Satheeskumar Sooriyakumar (Usha Kumarasamy), and Thushyanthy Sooriyakumar (Mathivanan Selvananthan); and her treasured grandchildren, Deborah, Naomi, Mathura, Suriya, Seyon, and Elana.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Vijaylakshmi (Padmanathan), Tharmaraja (Baby Saroja), Vijayrani (Gunaratnam), Selvaranjitham (Santhirasekaram), Rajeswari (Ponnuchchami), Arunthavarani (Ambikawathy), Jeyarasa (Shanthi), and Jeyaseelan.

She is also remembered fondly by her husband’s siblings: Mahendrakumar (Ambika), Kalaiarasi (Srivallinayagampillai), Surendrakumar (Baby), and Vijayakumar (Devi).

Kamalapoopathy’s kindness, love, and strength touched the hearts of her extended family and close friends. Her memory will be cherished forever.

Funeral Details:
• Viewing: Saturday, December 7th 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Cremation: To follow immediately after.
