Yves Bruson
Information
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Yves Bruson, husband of Michèle Desjardins Bruson, on November 22 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Pierre Bruson and Suzanne Jeancolas.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Étienne (Anny Morrisette), Ian (Kathrie Lambert), Anne-Marie (Benoit Marion) and his grandchildren; Mathieu, Clovis, Olivier, Victor, Gaëlle, Laurence and Julianne.
He is also survived by his brothers; Claude (late Mariette Gauvreau), Jean-Marie (Christophe Damas) and brother-in-law Jean-Marie Évrard (late Michelle Bruson) as well as many relatives and friends in Canada and France.
Yves was a loving father, a proud grandfather and a lifelong friend. He will leave an indelible mark on those who knew and knew him. He had a prodigious memory, always interesting in his conversations with everyone. He was generous and very humble. He was passionate about cooking and photography. He will be sorely missed.
The family would like to thank the entire Hematology-Oncology team at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital for their constant dedication over the years, as well as the team at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their attentive and kind care during the last days.
