It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Giorgio Macrì on November 13, 2024 in Montreal.
Mr. Macrì is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Caterina Barillaro Macrì, sons Filippo (Tanya) and Nicodemo (Veronica), and grandchildren Victoria, Reigna, Ivy, Eva, Mila and Lorenzo.
He is also survived by his brother Nicodemo (Maria) and sisters Maria and Rosalba (Pino), brother-in-law Domenico (Albina), and sister-in-law Marie (the late Gabriel), nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on November 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex located at 6700 Beaubien St., Montreal.
Funeral services will be held on November 20 at 10:00 am at Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata, 1700 rue Jean-Talon, Montréal, followed by interment at Repos Saint-François d'Assise.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
