It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Françoise Girard, aged 91, on Saturday, November 2 at the CHUM.

Françoise was the beloved wife of Roger Girard for 68 years, and the loving mother of Lyne, Josée, Sonia and Isabel. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Hugo, Tania, Benjamin, Julia, Laurence, Geneviève and Delphine, as well as her great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Liam, Noelie, Maverick, Ariel and Julyana, whom she loved dearly.

Françoise was the sister of the late Fortin Roy, the late Florent Roy, the late Mariette Roy and François Roy (Simone).

The family will receive condolences on November 9, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien St., Montreal. A celebration of her life will be held at noon in the complex chapel.

The family would like to thank the CHUM staff for their devotion and support, as well as the team at Les Jardins de Jouvence.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fondation du CHUM would be appreciated.
