It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Claudette Rupp Sauvé, at the age of 87, on October 16, 2024, predeceased by her brother Jacques and her parents Max Rupp and Simone Boulais. She was the wife of the late Paul Sauvé and spouse of the late Serge Rochon.

She is survived by her children Raymond (Julie), Jocelyne (Bernard), Isabelle, Martine (Jacques), grandchildren Gabriel (Karine), Marie-Alex (François), Audrey, Félix, great-grandchildren Alexia and Henri, brother Gilbert and niece Ginette, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces of the Sauvé family as well as cousins, friends and former work colleagues.

Claudette will be remembered as a woman of heart and head, proud of her family, a good pianist, bridge player, lover of classical music and opera, and happy at her second home in the Laurentians, which she frequented for many years. Her family would like to point out that her departure was preceded by a day of happiness, laughter, joy and much appreciated encounters, in the company of many of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was certainly happy on her last day.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on November 30, 2024 at Urgel Bourgie 3955 Chemin de la Côte de Liesse starting at 1 pm. A tribute will be held at 4 p.m. and you are all invited to speak and share happy or funny memories with her, as she wished. An afternoon tea will follow.
