Bernice Santori
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice Mary Santori (nee Rutherford) on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in her 90th year.
A truly amazing Woman, Bernice was born on October 27, 1934, to Robert and Florence Rutherford (nee Hawkins) and was raised by her Maternal Grandmother, Grace Hawkins. Born in Goose Village (Montreal) she later settled into the city of Lasalle Quebec on 3rd avenue where she raised her own family for 58 years. In 2017 she then relocated to Oakville Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Dominic Santori, her brother Robert Rutherford (Joyce) and her sister Shirley Hart (Norman).
Bernice leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Christina (Daniel), Joanna (Martin), John (Natalie) and Diane (Steven), her five grandchildren, Caitlin (John), Jessica (Joel), Megan (Paul), Adam (Tessa) and Cassidy (Daniel) and her three Great-Grandchildren, Dylan, Elanora and Jack.
Her dedication and loyalty to her family, both immediate and extended, to her friends, her cousins, her community and her faith was surpassing.
She will forever be remembered as an Amazing Mother for her incredible strength, both mentally and physically, her beauty inside and out and her endless perseverance to keep going and just overcoming all obstacles that stood in her way.
Mom, although we will miss you and love you beyond any words, we will continue to remember and cherish each moment we had with you and how you touched so many lives and brought so much happiness to everyone around you.
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernice’s name to any charity of your choice.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 9th @ 10:30 AM at St. John Brebeuf Church, 7777 George St., LaSalle, Quebec
