Saverio Morielli
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Saverio Morielli, in Montreal on September 22, 2024, at the age of 91.
Born to the late Nicola Morielli and Carmela Paulozza, he was the beloved husband of the late Maria Plescia. Saverio leaves behind his cherished children: Nick (Carmie), Carmela (Mario), and Anthony (Nadia). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Matthew (Jessica), David, Amanda, Alicia, and Jenna, as well as his great-grandchildren Levi and Chase. He is also survived by his sisters, Ida, Maria, and Carolina, and predeceased by his sisters Mena, Lucia, and brother Joe.
Saverio dedicated his entire life to family, who were the center of his world. His legacy of love, devotion, and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (1275 Dollard, LaSalle) on October 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at Madre dei Cristiani Church on the same day at 1:00 PM, followed by interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Saverio's angels at CHSLD LaSalle for the compassionate care they provided throughout the years. We are especially grateful to Doctor T. Giannelis, whose exceptional care and dedication went above and beyond.
