It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of a cherished husband, father and grandfather, peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the age of 85 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife Nicole Poirier-Bevand, his daughters Sharron (Radek), Robyn (Gary) and Tammy (David).

George was a cherished Poppa to Amanda, Corey, Michael, Mitchell, Ashley, Robert and Jessica, also to his beautiful great-grandchildren Adrian, Owen and Eleanor Robyn, who were his pride and joy.

George, will be sadly missed by his siblings, his many nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was always his happiest surrounded by his family. We will miss him dearly and will cherish the happy memories we shared together.

A celebration of life will be held, with visitation on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, at the Jardin Urgel Bourgie located at 8145 chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert (south of autoroute 30, at exit 73)

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
