It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthaus Priess on September 13, 2024, in Magog.

Survived by his loving wife Annemarie Wittje, he leaves behind his children Margaret (Ivan), Monica (Bob) and Robert (Antoinette), his grandchildren Mark (Jenna), Robert (Liz), Matthew (Stephanie), Annie, Andrew (Anastasia), Angela (Zach), Scott (Amy), James and Christopher and his great-grandchildren Jasper, Waverly, Lara, Leo and Carmine. He also leaves behind many close relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie funeral home, 6700 Beaubien Rue E Montréal, QC H1M 3E3, on September 20, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. A ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honor to the Société Alzheimer de l'Estrie would be appreciated.
