Marcelle Terreault
Terreault, Marcelle
1927-2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marcelle Terreault, on September 10, 2024, at Santa Cabrini Hospital, at the age of 96.
Born on November 4, 1927, Marcelle was the daughter of the late Hector Terreault and Delia Lacasse. A resident of Montreal, she marked the lives of those who came into contact with her by her kindness, wisdom and unconditional love for her family.
She joins her late husband Marcel Demers, with whom she shared many years of happiness and complicity.
Marcelle is survived by her children and their spouses: Francine (Richard), Pierre (Linda), and Anne-Marie (Jean-Marc). She was also the cherished grandmother of Marc, Caroline, Valérie, Marie-Josée, Christine, David and Francis, as well as 14 great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, cousins and many relatives and friends, who will remember her with great affection and gratitude.
In her memory, the family would like to suggest that donations be made to the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation, in honour of her generous and caring spirit.
The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home (6700 Beaubien East, Montreal, Quebec, H1M3E3) on September 28, 2024, from 2 to 7 p.m., followed by a viewing and reception.
Marcelle will remain in our hearts as an exceptional woman, whose love and wisdom will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
