It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Téta and Mami, Abla Haddad Khalifé, who left us on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Daughter of the late Beny Haddad and the late Samira Saad, she is mourned by her husband, Sami Khalifé, as well as her children, Raya (Pierre Michenet), Karim (Suzi Kurdoghlanian), and Zeina (Benoît Tilizien).

Téta Abla will be deeply missed, especially by her beloved grandchildren, Laura, Sam, Émilie, and Léa.

She leaves behind in unimaginable grief her sister, Liliane Hadaya and family, and her brother, Joseph Haddad and family.

In Lebanon, which she loved so dearly, she will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Maggy Soumrany and family, and Marie (Mimo) Séropian and family.

She also leaves behind many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends she cherished dearly, in Canada, Lebanon, and several other countries.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM, at the Urgel Bourgie funeral complex located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mont-Royal.

The mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10 AM, at the Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur, 10025 Acadie Blvd., Montreal.

For those unable to attend, the ceremony will be streamed online. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur for the repose of her soul would be appreciated.
