Yvette Trahan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Yvette Trahan-Nadeau, on September 3, 2024, in Laval. She was born on August 22, 1929, in Yamachiche, Quebec, and was 95 years old. She was the wife of the late Pierre Nadeau, and daughter of the late Eugène Trahan and Hortense Lamy.
Mrs. Trahan-Nadeau is survived by her children: André Nadeau, Louise Nadeau and Nicole Nadeau; her grandchildren : Steve Rempel and Katrina Rempel (Morgan Gill); great-grandson Alexander Rempel; sister Lucille Trahan (late Gabriel Bellemare), brother Rosaire Trahan (Lise Pellerin) and sisters-in-law Denise Auger, Gemma Binette and Pauline Gélinas.
She is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex, 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, Saint-Laurent/Montreal. A ceremony to celebrate Yvette's life will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the same complex.
Interment will take place at a later date at Notre-Dames-des-Neiges Cemetery in Montreal.
The family would like to thank the staff at CHSLD Val-des-Brises 2e Nord in Laval for their excellent care.
