Ngoc Thuan Dang
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Dr. Ngoc Thuan Dang on September 6, 2024 in Montreal at the age of 90.
He courageously took his family across the ocean to escape communism in Vietnam. After arriving in Canada, he successfully started a new life, from scratch, to (re)become a doctor. He didn't retire until the age of 74.
He gave so much to his family and instilled in us, among other things, hard work, sacrifice and perseverance. His last words to us were full of tenderness: “Love one another”. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife Thi Quang Pham, his children Angela Ngoc Dung (Don Nguyen), François-Kynam Dang (Geneviève Turner) and Richard-Kyphat Dang (Anne Fejes), his grandchildren David Dan, Anne Xuan Lan, Antoine-Kyphong, Édouard-Kylam, Evie, Madeline and Kristof, as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte de Liesse, Ville Saint-Laurent, on October 5 from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
