Gisèle Desrosiers
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gisèle D. Duplessis on September 7, 2024 in Montreal. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Richard Duplessis and daughter of the late Hervé Desrosiers and Marguerite Boutin.
In addition to her husband of fifty-three years, Mrs. Duplessis is survived by her children Andréane (Marc Marchand), her granddaughter Livia and her son Marc.
She is also survived by her sister Thérèse (René Bastien), sisters-in-law Johanne (Richard Legendre) and Ginette (Michel Demers), brother-in-law Jacques (Darlene Hanes), goddaughter Josée Bastien, godson Simon Duplessis, nephews and nieces, as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex located at 6700 Beaubien Street in Montreal. A tribute will be held at 2 p.m. in the complex chapel, followed by interment at Repos St-François d'Assise.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lougnarath, Dr. Donath, Dr. Munteanu and all the nursing and hospital staff for their care and support. The list is so long and we have nothing but praise for you. Thank you all again for your humanity.
Donations to the Fondation du CHUM would be appreciated.
