In Laval, peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, August 23, 2024, at the age of 93, passed away Mr. Marcel Marquette, husband of Mrs. Gisèle Doyon. He was the son of the late Adéodat Marquette and the late Rosalia Brodeur.

In addition to his wife Gisèle, Mr. Marcel Marquette is survived by his children, France (Jacques Daoust), Céline (Benoit Laparé), René (France Abran), Manon (Michel Pelletier), Sophie (Serge Ferland), grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Geneviève (François Rousseau), William, Mathis, Loïc, Zachary. Jean-François (Julie Lafoux), Louis, Maxime, Carine (Alain Lavigne), Thomas, Florence, Maude, Olivier. Maryse (Charles Alexandre Monette), the late Chloé who met her grand-papi for the first time, Justin, Alexis. Marc-André (Étienne Beaudry). Dave (Chanelle Théroux Leduc) Damon. Christopher (Samantha Bernier), Louis, Harry. François-Philippe and his children, Théo, Nova, Éloi. Guillaume (Lydiane Raymond), Constance. Jessica (Alex Villeneuve) and their daughter Laurianne. Marc-Anthony and Ariane.

He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos complex located at 2500 avenue des Perron, Laval on September 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the ceremony at the funeral home.
