Gerald Fischer
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Fischer, who passed away in Montreal at the age of 62. He was the beloved son of Joseph Fischer and the late Claudette Fischer.
He is survived by his children Kassandra (Jean-Christophe) and Tanya (Mathieu), and his grandchildren Jacob and Constance. He also leaves his companion Sylvie Genest, with whom he shared 26 years of love, as well as his sister Lydia (Philippe), and his nephews Derek, Philippe and Evan. Gerry also leaves behind his cousins, as well as many relatives and friends.
Gerry was passionate about music, despite his modest dancing talents. He loved nature and animals. Proud and joyful, he was a pillar in the lives of his family and friends until his life was tragically turned upside down.
The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (6700 Rue Beaubien E.,Montréal, QC H1M 3E3) on Thursday, September 19, from noon to 9:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cervo Foundation, which supports research into mental illness, at https://fondationcervo.com/donner/comment-donner/.
