Michel Trudeau
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Michel Trudeau on August 27, 2024 at the age of 94 at the CHSLD De Lajemmerais in Varennes.
Michel was the husband of the late Gisèle Sicard and the brother of the late Lucille Trudeau (Francis Doyle) and the late Suzanne Trudeau (Robert Cyr).
He is survived by his children: Marie-Claude (Brian Balfe), Jean-Marc (Lucie Roy), Dominique (Louis Friloux),
His grandchildren: Amélie Roy-Bergeron (Hubert Salvail), Jean-Daniel Roy-Trudeau (Virginie Hamel), Laurent Roy-Trudeau, Louis-Michel Friloux, Aimée Friloux.
His great-grandson: Aurèle Salvail-Bergeron.
And many nieces and nephews.
Michel taught for 25 years at Collège Mont Saint-Louis on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard in Montreal. He taught history and religious culture. He was passionate about the study of religions. He was also very curious about the world around us and loved to paint its beauties. He was a loving, understanding and supportive father and grandfather.
His children would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff on the 1st floor of the CHSLD De Lajemmerais for their total dedication to their father's well-being in the care, assistance and support he received.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Les Jardins Urgel Bourgie Rive-sud funeral complex located at 8145 Chemin Chambly in St-Hubert in December. The funeral will take place at the complex on December 15 from 2 to 5 p.m.
