Allison Skerrett
Allison Ruth Skerrett, known affectionately as Allie, passed away on August 27, 2024, in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 54. Born on August 30, 1969, in Montreal, she was a cherished member of her community and a beacon of kindness and resilience.
Allie grew up attending Kensington Elementary and later graduated from Centennial Regional High School and Galt High School. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to O'Sullivan College, where she furthered her education and recently received her diploma as a Paralegal.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Eric Holtz-Miller, and was a beloved sister to Brenda, Estelle, Barbara, Geoffrey, and Michael. Her life was enriched by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ali was preceded in death by her parents, Reynold Skerrett Sr. and Lillian Rose Skerrett, as well as her brother Reynold James Skerrett.
Allie's life will be honored with a visitation on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 9:30 am to 12:30 am, followed by a service from 12:30 am to 1:30 pm, and a reception from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating her remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the MUHC Foundation in memory of Allie, to continue her legacy of compassion and support for the community she held dear. Her spirit and joy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
