Georges Clenzos
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George Clenzos, who departed this life at the age of 95. He died peacefully in Montreal on August 11, 2024.
Mr. George Clenzos was a beloved husband to Mary Clenzos and a cherished father to Eugenie Mosconas and Theodore Clenzos. He was the proud father-in-law to Milton Mosconas and Georgia Marcopoulos. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Lia Mosconas, Christina Mosconas, Sebastian Clenzos–Marcopoulos and Jason Clenzos–Marcopoulos, as well as his grandsons-in-law, Oliver Pearce and Conor O'Hara. He was a great-grandfather to George Pearce, Thomas O'Hara, Athena O'Hara, and Benjamin Pearce. George will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom and the love he generously shared with his family.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, August 27, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Chem. Côte-de-Liesse, H4N 2N6, 514-735-2025. A celebration of George Clenzos' life will be held the following day, at 10:00 AM at the Saint-Georges Orthodox Cathedral, 2455 Chem. de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, QC H3T 1A8.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
