Cécile Lambert

Cécile passed away peacefully on 27 July in Montreal.

Her children: Christiane (Martin), Valérie and Benoît (Karine), her grandchildren Philippe (Isabelle), Sarah (Charles), Julie and Chloé Bourdeau, Marilou (Benoit), Hugo, Jean-Charles (Alexia) and Justin Doucet, Julia and Benjamin Raspa and her great-grandchildren Lexi and Luca Bourdeau were her most cherished possessions.

The eldest daughter of the late Joseph Lomer Lambert and the late Doris Boucher, she was most grateful for the support of her loving siblings and their respective families: Rita (the late Jean), Nancy (Gilbert), the late Hélène (Marcel), Raymond (Gisèle), Paul (Micheline), Jean (Johanne), Richard (Guylaine), Mary (Gilles) and Diane (Pierre). She is also remembered for the precious friendships, colleagues and students who have accompanied her on her journey.

Professor emeritus of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke and holder of the Insigne du mérite de l'Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec, her concern was to maintain the dignity of the individual in vulnerable situations.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 1255 Av. Beaumont, Mont-Royal on September 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. The celebration of life will take place from 4 to 5 p.m.
