Brother Bertrand Audet, of the Christian Brothers community, died at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the age of 90 years and 8 months. Son of Désiré Audet and Alice Corriveau, he was born in Waterville on 22 November 1933. He joined the F.É.C. in 1950 and worked in youth education in Compton, Sherbrooke, Sorel and in three English-language colleges in Montreal.

In addition to his religious family, he is survived by his sister Simone (Camille Riendeau) and his brothers Léandre (Thérèse Payeur) and Rock-Henri (Ida Prévost). He also leaves nephews and nieces (Nicole, Jacqueline, Suzanne, Diane, Claire, Daniel, the late Carole, Patrick, Guylaine, Sylvain, Marianne, Irène, Rachel and Bruno) and friends.

Funeral at the Résidence De-La-Salle, 300, chemin du Bord-de-l'Eau, Laval (Sainte-Dorothée), salle Toussaint-Dufresne, on Monday, July 29 at 10:30 a.m., with viewing of the body from 9 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, Montréal.
