Surrounded by his family and awaiting the resurrection, Mr. Pierre Proulx, husband of Mrs. Rachelle Nolet, passed away in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Sylva Proulx and the late Gertrude Langlais.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Proulx is survived by his children: Jacinthe (Dominique Boily), Abbé François, Raphaël, Esther (Barthélémy Rieu), Élisabeth and Justine, his grandchildren: the Boily family: Augustin, Grégoire, Espérance, Bénédictin, Marie-Clothilde, Hubert, Godefroy, Louis-Édouard, Bérénice, Athanase, Foucauld, Agathe, the Rieu family: Anastasia, Abigaël, Évangéline and Maximilien.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters of the Proulx family: Michelle (Pierre Lemay), Micheline (Robert Beaulieu) and Jacques, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Nolet family: the late Normand (Johanne Blais), Louis (Nicole Hachey), Albert (Dominique Savoie), Hélène (Yvan Bertand) and Gaétanne (Joel Barton).

He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends, as well as by his brothers and sisters of the first community of the Neocatechumenal Way of Saint-Denis in Montreal.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 1559 rue de Montarville in St-Bruno-de-Montarville. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. at Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville Church. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville Cemetery.
