Pigeon, Suzanne (née Leduc)
1933 - 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Suzanne Pigeon (née Leduc), affectionately known as "King Kong," on July 5, 2024, at the Centre d'Hébergement Champlain de Verdun, at the age of 91.
She joins her beloved husband, Pierre, with whom she shared 32 years of her life before leaving in 1987.
Suzanne is survived by her children Sylvie (Brian), Josée (Michael), Marc and Pierre (Caroline). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Mark (Livia), Matt (Sandrine), Kristine (Jason), Michael (Stéphanie), Christopher, Léanne and Marie-Ève, as well as her great-grandchildren Théo, Ella, Samantha, Romi, Luka and Nola.
She is also missed by many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Suzanne loved people and spent most of her professional career as a receptionist at Northern Telecom, Imperial Tobacco and Magil Laurentian.
Even in her later years, she loved to play tennis, cycle, play scrabble and go on adventurous roadtrips in the countryside.
The family would like to thank the Centre d'Hébergement Champlain for the excellent care provided to Suzanne.
Suzanne's loved ones will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (1275 Dollard, Lasalle, QC) on July 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a celebration of her life and a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
