On July 3, 2024, at the age of 66, Jean Richard, an engineer with Hydro-Québec, passed away. He is predeceased by his parents Annette Lenoir and Omer Richard, and his sister Francine.

He is survived by his son Philippe (Édith), his sister Lise (André), his nieces Josée and Catherine, his nephew Alexandre, members of the Lenoir and Richard families, as well as many friends and work colleagues.

The family will receive condolences on July 19, 2024 at the Urgel Bourgie complex located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue in Montréal from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on July 20 at Sainte-Madeleine Catholic Church located at 750 Outremont Avenue, H2V 3N3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The service will take place on the same day at 9.30am.
