Stanley Dunaj passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 at age 74 surrounded by his family.

Stan was born and raised in Montreal, to Stella and Izydor, growing up in the east end with his sibling Henry. In 1976 he met his wife Anne-Marie who was only describable as the love of a lifetime. Their love shone brightly for the 46 years of their marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jennifer (spouse Lunice), Sarah (spouse Haydar) and Becky (spouse Roman) and his grandchildren Sophie and Mateo.

He loved to joke, he loved to laugh, and we’ll all deeply miss his unique and endearing character. Stan leaves behind a legacy of love and thoughtfulness that will continue to inspire. This loss will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will take place on July 13 at 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Urgel Bourgie / Athos (1275 Dollard Ave, Lasalle, Quebec).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A private celebration of life will be held at a later time
