Wynette Avrielle Hohenkirk ( née Sandy)

We remember Wynette, beloved wife of Kingsley, whose spirit departed from us on June 7th, 2024 at the age of 80. Wynette, a dedicated nurse and an unwavering friend, has left a memorable mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Wynette is preceded in death by her parents and her son Gordon. She is survived by her devoted husband Kingsley and their children: Lyndon (Joan), Beverly, David (Marla), and Trevor. She will be remembered by her grandchildren: Keisha Oliver, Shaniqua Hohenkirk, Kaleem Blais, Thalia Hohenkirk, Xiomara Palma, Ilyana Hohenkirk, Xavier Hohenkirk, Kyllan Michel, Eli Hohenkirk, and Zion Hohenkirk. She is also survived by her sister Stephanie and numerous nieces and nephews: Billy, Joan, Derrick, Carol, Eon, Steven, Brian, Kennrick, Mark, Wayne, Kenneth, Brenette, Kwamie, Juneanne, Brian, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The viewing will be held on Friday, June 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, located at 8145 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert, J3Y 5K2 (514-735-2025). Following the viewing, a ceremony to honour Wynette’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the complex with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Wynette's memory.
