It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Géraldine Hynes Roy on June 9 at the age of 93.

Daughter of Denys Hynes and Emma Carrier, she was born and raised in Restigouche, N.B., and moved to Montreal in 1950.

Mrs. Hynes was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert Roy.

She was a wonderful woman, devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by her children: Denis (late Josette), Alain (Lilianne), Ronald (Suzanne), Elaine (Pierre) and Linda, as well as her grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral complex chapel.
