The funeral will be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church (4455 West Broadway Street, Montreal, QC H4B 2A7) on June 15th, 2024 at 11:00 AM.

Philip worked at Pratt & Whitney Canada, followed by their CSC and DXC divisions in the Information Technology Production Operations department for the past 37 years. He was a revered and respected leader.

Philip had many treasured friends and cousins who shall miss him immensely. Philip participated in numerous sports that he loved and enjoyed. Including Wednesday night hockey, weekly golf games (The Celtic Club), softball, touch football, fishing the Rideau Lakes and over the last couple of years, he had countless games of ping pong out of the Montreal West curling club. Everyone who knew Phil, knew that his first love was hockey. The HABS will forever remain deeply etched in his heart. He had diverse interests. He loved being out on the lake catching walleye and bass. He enjoyed travelling and in the last few years he did a lot of that. He has stories and memories from his golfing trips with 'The Boys ' (his dear friends). Annual vacations with his beloved family. The chalet in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts was a special place as was Lake Carmi, Vermont. North Carolina was another favourite destination, especially the Outer Banks. Earlier on there were the Adirondacks and Sedona and more recently, Europe and North Africa. Philip loved sitting around a campfire with family and friends. He had a great sense of humour and there was always music. He knew every song, artist, and title. He attended concerts of practically everyone that interested him.

Philip was a man who loved a good joke, especially his own and he could spin a story too. Philip laughed a lot, and his eyes would light up the room. He was a complete lover of life. Philip's love for his family, his wife and daughters was unconditional. They always knew that he was there for them no matter what.

The way he carried himself through this past year with nothing but dignity, determination, hope and grace, was admirable to say the least. We shall miss you forever my Prince. Prince Philip. Our Peas: Paige and Peyton, hope that one day you get to the Maldives, it's one of the wishes that they have for you.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
