It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Potenza Giliberti Capaldo on June 6th at 8:19pm, at the age of 103.

Daughter of Pellegrino Giliberti and Elisa Nittolo, she was born and raised in Sorbo Serpico, Avellino, and moved to Montreal in 1960.

Potenza was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmine Capaldo.

She was a wonderful woman, devoted to her family, and will be greatly missed by her children; Antonio (Angelina), Rosaria (Antonio) and Gerardo, as well as her ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive your condolences on Wednesday June 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday June 13 from 10 a.m. at the Urgel Bourgie complex,6700 Beaubien Est, Montréal, H1M 3E3, 514 735-2025.

The funeral will be celebrated at Mount Carmel Church, on thursday June 13 at 1 p.m, 7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2A1 and from there, burial will follow at Repos St-François d'Assise Cemetery, 6893 Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N 1C7.
