At the Maison des soins palliatifs Le Monarque, Plaisance, on June 1, 2024, at the age of 99, passed away Viviane Girard, wife of the late Jacques Désilets.

She is survived by her children: Justine, Pierre (Carole Cayer) and France (Daniel Galbrand);
her grandchildren: Julie Valente (Donald Guy), Tina Valente (Alain Gauthier), Annie Désilets (Marc-André Aubin);
his great-grandchildren: Marc-Antoine Gagnon (Sarah Ève Lemieux), Mariane Gagnon (William Payette), Simon Gauthier (Maude Sigouin) and David Gauthier.

She also leaves her sister Muguette Girard; brothers Marcel Girard (late Lise Cousineau), Rhéaume Girard and Jacques Girard, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
