James Pezoulas

1944-2024

Information

Pezoulas, James
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James Pezoulas on May 30th 2024, at the age of 80.

Beloved husband and partner in crime for 49 years to Gloria (née Kotsonas), their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship. He was a devoted and loving father to Alexander, and father-in-law to Amanda. His love for his son was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment they spent together. He was not only a father but a mentor and friend to Alexander, always there with unwavering support, and guidance.

He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Anastasia and Andreas, who will forever hold him in their hearts as their beloved Papou. His eyes would light up whenever he spoke of them, and his love and pride for them was boundless.

His loving niece Dee and her children, Luca and Melyna shared a special bond with Uncle Jim that will forever be treasured. He played an irreplaceable role in their lives.

He will be greatly missed by his nephew Paul and niece Stephanie, who he loved very much. He will be remembered by many other relatives and cherished friends who will forever carry his memory.

Known for his zest for life, he enjoyed every party and had a special appreciation for fine wine (or whatever was offered) and luxury cars. In recent years, he discovered a passion for golf, adding yet another joy to his life. His approach to everything he pursued was marked by passion, determination, and a quest for excellence.

These traits shone brightly throughout his distinguished 43-year career at BMO Capital markets where he consistently garnered recognition for his outstanding achievements.

He leaves behind a profound void in the family, his absence deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Forever in our hearts Jimbo, until we meet again.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday June 4th, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Athos Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, Montreal.
