It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Madame Marjorie Brathwaite in Lasalle on May 14, 2024, at the age of 92.
She was the daughter of the late Elliote Dick Brathwaite and Lilian Eversley.

She leaves to mourn her children: Maureen, Judy, Marva, Marilyn, Veronica, Sylvester, Ricardo, Leo, and Roger.

Marjorie was the beloved sister of Lionel and the cherished aunt of Monica, Marcel, Marjorie, Rose, Leon, Lesley, Lester, and Leroy. She was predeceased by her son, Junior.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Kevin, Matthew, Kyle, Shane, David, Suzanne, Kelly-Anne, Damaris, Cheryl, and Victoria, as well as her 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her beloved cousins Avril Brathwaite and family and the Moores Families.



Marjorie will also be fondly remembered by her numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, friends, and extended family members.

Condolences will be received at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home (1275 Dollard, Lasalle, QC, H8N 2J1) on May 27 from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm.
The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on May 28, 2024, at 2 PM.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and social workers of the CLSC of Lasalle, for the exceptional care provided to Marjorie.
