It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yolande Labelle-Magoon on May 7, 2024, at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late Francis Charles Magoon and the daughter of the late Édouard Labelle and the late Lébéa Bourbonnais.

Yolande was the mother of Joanne (Michel Beaudin), Patrick (Diane Clermont) and Michael (France Tardy); grandmother of Geneviève (Jeffrey), Alexandre, Shawn, Allison (Simon), Stéphanie, Christina and Andrew; and great-grandmother of Ludoïk and Joakym.

She leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Helen Cyr, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially from the Maywood and Jean-Placide-Desrosiers residences.

Thank you to the CLSC du Lac St-Louis for the care provided over the past year. Special thanks to Dr. Geneviève Richer for her great humanity.

The family will receive condolences from relatives and friends on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex located at 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, St-Laurent, QC, H4N2N6. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. in the complex chapel.
