Surrounded by the love of his family, André Schirmer passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on April 30, 2024. He is survived by his wife Diane Guilbault, his children Sébastien and Fannie (Danny), his granddaughters Ariane and Florence, his daughter-in-law Catherine (Hermann) and their children Vincent and Victoria, his brothers Fernand, Gérard, Michel and the late Richard, his sisters Lorraine and Diane, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, a large number of friends and all those who own his works, who will continue to keep his art alive.

The family would like to extend their warmest thanks to the entire team at CHSLD La Pommeraie in Cowansville for their devotion and good care; she deserves our admiration and greatest respect.

The family will welcome you for visitation at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Montreal, on Friday, May 17, 2024 between 2 and 5 p.m., as well as from 7 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life will take place on site at 8 p.m.
