It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Georgette Babineau, who passed away peacefully at Charles Le Moyne Hospital on April 29, 2024, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Georges Babineau and Alphonsine Dupéré.

Mrs. Babineau is survived by her husband Lucien Carrier, her 7 children and their spouses:

Suzanne and Rafael, Richard and Carole, Maurice and Nathalie, Louise and Peter, Jean-Yves, André and Vânia, Laurent and Christyne.

Georgette is also survived by many grandchildren:

Marjolaine, Emmanuelle, Gabrielle, Annabelle, Sarah, Mélanie, Thaïna, Henri-Louis, Benjamin and Éloïse.

Georgette was a loving, gentle, smiling, cheerful and welcoming woman, dedicated to her family's happiness. Her warmth and kindness brightened our lives. She will remain in our hearts forever, and her luminous presence will be deeply missed.

Lucien and all the members of the family would like to thank all the people who accompanied Georgette over the years, especially Brigitte, Rachida, Pénélope, Marie-Josée and Nathalie, whose support and affection were essential to her well-being and happiness.

The family will receive your condolences on Saturday, May 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Complexe Jardin Urgel Bourgie, 8145 Chemin de Chambly, Saint-Hubert, J3Y 5K2, 514 735-2025. A liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on the same Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the complex chapel.
