Carmen Pepin Ruest, 89, of Charles Le-Moyne Hospital, passed away April 25, 2024.

She is survived by her husband Alex, sons Marcellin and Benoit, and siblings; Félicien, Rosaire, Omer, Clémence, André, Jeanne-d'Arc, Clément, Gratien and Lucille.

She is survived by her children; Guy (Sonia Boily), France (Richard Ouellet), Jean (Sonia Mercier), Danielle (Gérard Bonenfant), her 6 grandchildren, her 3 great-grandchildren as well as her 2 sisters Rollande (late Lionel Ruest), Francine (Simon Jutras) and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Ruest family.

She also leaves to mourn her nephews and nieces, as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, 8145 chemin de Chambly, Saint-Hubert, J3Y 5K2, 514 735-2025. A memorial service will be held that same Saturday, May 18, at 12 p.m. in the complex chapel, and will be broadcast live via this link: https://funeraweb.tv/fr/diffusions/89767, followed by interment in the same cemetery.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the palliative care unit at Charles Le-Moyne Hospital, especially Dr. François Matte, who enabled our mother to end her life in peace.
