It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Carmel Chagnon-Shink on April 18, 2024 in Montreal.

A generous and devoted mother, she is survived by her children Richard (Johanne), Guy (Josée), and Daniel (Danielle), her grandchildren Vanessa (Mathieu), Christopher, Pierluc, and Gabrielle, and her great-grandchildren Éli and Thom.

She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends. Carmel, you will remain in our hearts and memories forever.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Montreal Cemetery and Funeral Complex, located at 3955 chemin de la Cote-de-liesse, Saint-Laurent. Funeral services will be held on site, followed by burial at the same funeral complex.
