It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cécile Désy in Montréal on March 29, 2024, at the age of 94. Daughter of the late Emmanuel Désy and Annette Piette. Predeceased by her husband Michel Draguet.

She is survived by her sister Monique Désy (late Léopold), nephews and nieces, in-laws in Belgium and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on April 19, 2024 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home (6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal). Funeral services will be held at Paroisse Saint-Edouard (6500 Rue de Saint-Vallier, Montréal, QC, H2S 2P7) on April 20, 2024 at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Cimetière des Saint-Anges de Sorel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to charitable foundations would be greatly appreciated.
