It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Richard Catwell, who bravely battled cancer until March 31, 2024, in Montreal. He was 62 years old.

Born to Arthur Catwell and the late Neale Caddle, Richard leaves behind his devoted wife of 33 years, Shirley Brathwaite, and their children, Jordan and Taylor. He is also survived by his brothers Vince, Michael, and Owen.

Richard will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues at the Jewish General Hospital.

The family will receive condolences on April 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on April 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie/Feron Funeral Complex, 1275 Dollard Avenue, Lasalle.

Funeral services will be held May 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Pentecostal Church, 1050 Blvd. Shevchenko, Lasalle, QC, H8N 1N6, followed by interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery at 2:45 p.m. the same day.
