Colette Lafleur
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Colette Lafleur Labelle, aged 90 years and 11 months, on March 24, 2024, at the Pavillon Albert-Poissant (palliative care), in Montreal. She was the wife of the late Réal Labelle and daughter of the late Gustave Lafleur and Fernande Champagne.
Loved by her daughters Ghyslaine Labelle (Pierre) and Monique Labelle (Pierre), her sons Normand Labelle (Marie-Alice) and Denys Labelle (Natacha); her grandchildren Alexandre (Jessica), Kim (Xavier), Simon, Mathieu (Clara) and Marianne and her great-grandchildren Natalia, Zoé, Béatrice and Isaac. She is also survived by her brother Marcel and her sisters Micheline, Thérèse, Lucile and Hélène and their spouses, her nephews and nieces, as well as many relatives and friends.
We pay tribute to Colette, a discreet and caring soul, driven by a thirst for knowledge and tireless curiosity. Her constant desire to pass on memories will remain engraved in our hearts.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien East, Montreal. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m., in the funeral complex chapel, on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Interment will follow at 11 a.m. at Repos Saint-François d'Assise, 6893 Sherbrooke East, Montréal.
