It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Paul-Émile Mayrand on March 18, 2024 in LaSalle.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife Christiane Adam, his sister Monique (late Onil Plante), his children from a first marriage with the late Pierrette Ducharme: Céline, François (Lise Dionne), Lorraine (Yvon Martel), his granddaughters Laurence and Clara, his great granddaughter Charlie, as well as many relatives and friends.

Paul-Émile Mayrand of Déschambault, who passed away at the age of 92, was the son and one of 12 children of the late Antoinette Naud and Émile Mayrand. He worked as a teacher and guidance counsellor in Saint-Henri. He was a loving and caring caregiver to his family throughout his life.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie /Athos Funeral Complex, 1275 Dollard Avenue, LaSalle, on Saturday, April 6, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held the same day in the complex's chapel/church from 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated in Paul-Émile's honour.
