Mrs. Fernande Arel, 96, wife of the late Réal Joyal, passed away March 15, 2024, at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, Montreal. She was the daughter of the late Willie Arel and Marie-Anne Capistran.

She is survived by her children Ginette, France, Daniel, Serge, Guy and Nicole, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Urgel Bougie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien St. E., Montreal. Funeral services will follow in the funeral complex chapel at 4 p.m.
