On March 17, 2024, at the age of 104, Mrs. Juliette Deschênes, wife of the late Joseph-Arthur Rochefort, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Deschênes and the late Bernadette Rouleau.

She is survived by her children Normand (Michelle Perron), Danielle (André Charest) and Michel (Jocelyne Barbe), her grandchildren Yan, Marie-Joëlle, Marie-Claude, Jean-François, Fanie and Camille, her great-grandchildren Ericson, Thomas, Daphnée, Gabrielle, Théodore, Alice and James, her brothers and sisters, the late Simone, the late Irène, Germaine, Berthe, the late Thérèse, the late Donat (Ruth Côté), Alcide, the late Jeanne-d'Arc, Bertrand (Ginette Boissoneault), Lucille, Anita (Paul Godin), the late Paul, Jean (Ginette Dupéré) Lucien (Murielle Bolduc) and Louise, as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien East, H1M 3E3, 514 735-2025. A religious ceremony will be held that same Saturday, May 11, at 4 p.m. in the complex chapel.
