It is with a heavy but loving heart that we share the passing of an exceptional man, Yvon Bergeron. He was an example of courage and resilience to the very end. Surrounded by his family, in serenity and love, he passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 68.

Loved and supported by his wife Francine Bertrand, adored by his children Guillaume, Jonathan (Sara), Mélanie (David) and his grandchildren Léo, Ethan, Éliane and Jeanne.

Gathered with his siblings, Serge (Ghislaine), Richard (Chantal), Josée (Martin), Julie (Christian), his nephews and nieces as well as many relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the palliative care team at the Centre hospitalier Pierre-Le-Gardeur for their devotion and kindness.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal, H1M 3E3, on Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the same location at 4 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Fondation Santé sud de Lanaudière or the Fondation de l'hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (FHMR).
