It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on March 5th 2024 at the age of 95 of Mr. Vernon Alleyne, beloved husband of Eunice Alleyne (Depeiza), father of Avril and Livingston Alleyne , Joan and Vernon Worrell (Sharron) and the late Jeffrey Francis. He was the son of Hubert Alleyne and Melvine Alleyne.

He was the grandfather of Kyle Worrell, Bianca and Malikai Angeles Alleyne, the great grandfather and the great great grand father of many. He also was the brother of Gloria Hinds , Monica Burnham (Douglas) , Marjorie Cox (Sam) , Madeline Trotman (David), the late Gladys, Ellen, Douglas and Frank Alleyne, the brother in law of Rosalind Depeiza, Hazel Morgan and Lloyd Stanford (Ann), uncle of many and friend of Clayton Daley, Marleen Kirton and his church family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23rd 2024 from 8 am to 10 am at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Complex, 1275 avenue Dollard in LaSalle. The service will follow starting at 10 am in the chapel of the funeral complex and will be followed by the internment at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Cemetary at 3955, Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse in Montreal.
